Monterey Church is a safe place where everyone who wants to explore a relationship with God or grow in their faith is welcome!
When & Where Do You Meet?
We meet on Sundays at 10AM.
Adults meet at the Golden State Theatre, located in Downtown Monterey, while the children's program (GoKids) is located a few doors down (401 Alvarado St.).
Our Sunday gatherings typically last 60-70 minutes. We sing modern music, listen to a thought-provoking teaching from the Bible, and everyone is invited to hang out afterwards to grow in relationship with one another.
The focus of our weekly gathering is to create an environment where you can have an authentic and life-changing encounter with God, identify your next step of faith, and then be equipped to go and live in accordance with His truth for the glory of God.
Parking on the street is FREE on Sundays.
The next best option is to use the West Garage parking lot.
You don’t have to dress up. Come as you feel comfortable.
What Do You Offer For My Kids?
"GoKids" is our ministry tailored for ages 3 months - 5th Grade.
They will enjoy fun and age-appropriate games, teachings and small-group discussions all designed to help them grow in their relationship with God and one another.
GoKids Check-In is open 9:45am-10:15am at 401 Alvarado St.
What about middle school and high school students?
Middle School Students meet in the "Lounge" (upstairs at 401 Alvarado St.).
High School Students sit together on Sunday mornings at the Golden State Theatre, and also meet Monday evenings for their Community Group.
